Inspired by the beauty and easygoing culture of the Blue Ridge Mountain region, Blue Ridge Junction will be home to Copperhead Strike, a coaster full of twists, turns and five inversions. That’s more than any other double launch coaster in North America!

Mountain Gliders is another new ride you’ll find in Blue Ridge Junction. This ride allows you to take matters into your own hands by operating the controls to steer your car higher or lower.

Formerly Wings restaurant, the all-new Blue Ridge Country Kitchen will have more air-conditioned seating and a new menu featuring rotisserie chicken and other farm fresh cuisine.

Carowinds will be open weekends through May 26, as well as weekdays April 15-19. Daily operation begins May 27 and continues through the summer. Click here to see the park's calendar and hours.
