CHARLOTTE, N.C. — UPDATE: On March 12 the American Hockey League announced that it has suspended play until further notice. Information regarding the Checkers’ remaining regular-season home games will be posted when available.

Ready for a night of affordable fun and lots of action? Check out the Charlotte Checkers, the reigning Calder Cup champions, when they hit home ice at Bojangles’ Coliseum.

Popular promotions returning this season include Chubby’s Birthday on March 15 and Pet Weekend consisting of Caturday and the Pooch Party on April 4-5.

Other promotions include Winning Wednesday featuring $1 beer and a free ticket to the next Wednesday game if the Checkers win, Family Nights offering discounts of 40 percent on groups of four tickets or more and College Nights featuring $15 tickets when you purchase online using a valid college email address.
