Charlotte Hornets get uptown buzzing

This year, the Charlotte Hornets are celebrating the team’s 30th anniversary of its inaugural 1988-89 season.

The season-long commemoration includes a new "Classic Edition" uniform, eight "Classic Nights" and a 30th anniversary team, which was selected through fan voting.

Giveaways at Classic Nights will include bobbleheads of Muggsy Bogues (Dec. 14), Steve Martin (Dec. 28), Glen Rice (Jan. 19) and Larry Johnson (March 8), as well as a 30th anniversary team T-shirt and a Hornets fanny pack.
