Because of social distancing measures resulting from COVID-19, many students will split their time between online and in-school learning.
But even with remote learning, students will still need basic supplies to be successful in school.
Keith Chiropractic and StarMed Healthcare are partnering to give away school supplies to students in need at their “Back to School Grab-N-Go” event on Aug. 7 and Aug. 8.
The two-day event will include the distribution of backpacks filled with school supplies on a first come, first served basis while supplies last.
Those in need of supplies can select one of the locations listed below to drive through and pick up a backpack.
Aug. 7 beginning at 5:00 p.m.
Keith Clinic – North, 402 E. Sugar Creek Road
Aug. 8 beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Keith Clinic – East/StarMed – East, 5344 Central Avenue
Aug. 8 beginning at 10:00 a.m.
Keith Clinic – West/StarMed – West 4016 Triangle Drive
From now until August 14, WSOC-TV’s 9 School Tools drive is collecting school supplies for students in grades K-12.
Covering 22 counties, 9 School Tools is the largest school supply drive in the Carolinas.
You can support local students by donating school supplies at any Showmars, Ashley HomeStore or E.R. Plumbing Services location.
