Jim Strickland, WSB-TV
Consumer Investigator
Award-winning Channel 2 consumer investigator Jim Strickland is on the alert wherever scam artists lurk.
Jim's investigations have led to corporate shake-ups and federal raids on offending businesses. One of Jim's groundbreaking series of reports led to sweeping regulation of the city of Atlanta's car booting industry.

In April 1999, Jim came to WSB-TV/Channel 2, where his first on-air story earned him an Emmy nomination. Jim has won eight Emmys, the Edward R. Murrow Award and many other awards, including being named a finalist for Journalist of the Year from the Atlanta Press Club.
Jim lives with his wife, Marie, in Cobb County. Their son is a captain in the U.S. Army, and is currently a company commander at Fort Hood, Texas. Their daughter works in finance in Cobb County.
