The body of Paul Cary, 66, arrived home in Colorado Sunday night, three days after he succumbed to COVID-19 in a New York City hospital. Cary, a longtime Aurora firefighter and paramedic before his 2010 retirement, was working with a private ambulance company when he volunteered in March to travel to New York to help relieve overwhelmed first responders there.

3 charged after Family Dollar security guard shot, killed over COVID-19 face mask requirement

A woman, her son and her husband have been charged with first-degree murder in the death of Calvin Munerlyn, 43, of Flint, who was shot in the back of the head after refusing to allow the woman to shop without wearing a face mask, authorities said. Sharmel Lashe Teague was in custody Monday evening but the other two suspects, Ramonyea Travon Bishop, 23, Larry Edward Teague, 44, were being sought by police.
