WEEKEND OUTLOOK: Temperatures will start to warm up even more heading into the weekend, with highs on Saturday in the upper 60s. Expect plenty of sunshine and light wind through the afternoon.
Sunday will be even warmer, reaching the mid-to-lower 70s by the afternoon. Charlotte will be within a degree or two of the record high of 73 degrees set in 1999. A few evening showers will be possible for the High Country, but we will stay dry in Charlotte.

LOOKING AHEAD: Clouds will increase for the start of the work week, holding temperatures in the low 60s both Monday and Tuesday. Showers will be possible as we head into the middle of the week as temperatures drop back into the mid-50s.
