While it’s not likely to happen, the idea is intriguing.
Late-night TV host Jimmy Kimmel asked Donald Trump, the presumptive Republican presidential nominee, Wednesday night if he would debate Sen. Bernie Sanders, the man fighting Hillary Clinton for the Democratic nomination.
Trump said he was willing to debate Sanders, especially since Clinton has said she would not debate him prior to the California primary on June 7. Trump joked about how much Sanders would have to pay him to participate, but then said he’d do it if any proceeds from such an event would go to charity.
Sanders quickly tweeted that he would look forward to debating Trump.
"Game on. I look forward to debating Donald Trump in California before the June 7 primary."

Trump told Kimmel he had enjoyed watching the race between Clinton and Sanders.
"I had no idea it was going to be so nasty," Trump said.
