ST. HELENA ISLAND, S.C. — Authorities said a man was stabbed multiple times at a South Carolina campsite.
The Island Packet cites a Beaufort County Sheriff's Office report that said deputies found the man with five stab wounds, scrapes and bloody knuckles on Saturday morning. He was taken from the St. Helena Island campsite to the hospital, after emergency medical personnel began to treat his wounds at his trailer.
The man told deputies he was attacked by two people while on his way to take a shower at the Wood Campground. The report said the attackers didn't ask for money or possessions and didn't steal anything from the man's trailer.
The report said the man couldn't provide much of a description of his attackers.
Further details haven't been released.
