MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. — Police are seeking a woman in connection with two hotel robberies on the same night in a popular South Carolina vacation city.
Myrtle Beach Police Department Capt. Joey Crosby says a woman targeted the Oceans Dunes Resort and a Best Western on North Kings Highway early Sunday, pointing a gun at hotel staff and taking cash. The suspect is wanted by Horry County police for armed robbery in connection with the Best Western theft.
Incident reports say the woman took $406 from the Ocean Dunes Resort and between $220 and $230 from the Best Western, after pointing her firearm at an employee of each establishment.
Crosby says police hope the woman will be identified from a released Best Western surveillance image.
