MATTHEWS, N.C. — Officials shut down the outer loop of Interstate 485 at the Highway 74 exit in Matthews Monday night after a vehicle overturned and caught on fire on the side of the road.
Two people were hospitalized with serious injuries.
The road was reopened later that night but no further information has been released.
