A UNC Charlotte professor made an incredible find in Jerusalem.
Shimon Gibson helped uncover a gold coin with the Roman emperor Nero stamped on it.
The rare coin is the first to turn up in Jerusalem. It was likely made in 56 A.D..
The coin was discovered while the professor and archeologists were excavating Mount Zion.
UNC Charlotte is the only university currently allowed to dig in Jerusalem.
