YORK COUNTY, S.C. — The South Carolina Highway Patrol was investigating a deadly crash in York County early Saturday morning.
Troopers told Channel 9 that a driver ran off the roadway on Beersheba Road around 10 a.m. and hit a tree.
Investigators said the driver was not wearing a seat belt and he was pronounced dead at the scene.
His name has not been released.
Troopers have not said yet what caused the wreck.
