CHARLOTTE, N.C. — During an update Friday morning into the homicide investigation of Sandy Le, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said they have officially charged Alex Castillo with her murder.
Castillo's girlfriend, Ahmia Feaster, was brought back to the Mecklenburg County Jail after turning herself in last month in Texas.
Police have charged Feaster with helping Castillo after the murder.

Feaster turned herself into authorities in Mexico last month after she disappeared in August with her boyfriend Castillo, 17, and her co-worker Le, 23, officials said.
She was placed in the Harris County jail in Texas after she turned herself into authorities.
Police found Le’s body a week after the three vanished, in woods along Robinson Church Road in Cabarrus County. An autopsy showed she had been shot in the head.
Authorities believe Feaster and Castillo took Le's car to Arizona then left for Mexico.
