YORK COUNTY, S.C. — A motorcyclist riding a 2010 Harley-Davidson died in a wreck at about 5:30 p.m. at Sutton Spring Road and Sharon Road in York County, troopers said.
A 17-year-old driving an SUV attempted to make a left turn in front of the motorcycle when the collision happened.
The motorcyclist, identified as 39-year-old Michael "Andy" Shuford, of Hickory Grove, South Carolina, died at the scene.
Shuford was not wearing a helmet at the time of the collision, troopers said.
The teen was not injured.
