HICKORY, N.C. — When it comes to residents' well-being, a new survey ranked the Hickory-Lenoir-Morganton area nearly the worst in the country.
The area ranked 188 out of 190 communities across the nation on the Gallup Healthways Well-being Index.
The report ranks communities based on purpose, social, financial, community and physical well-being.
The Charlotte-Concord-Gastonia area was ranked 61.
The Naples, Florida area was ranked number one.
