CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are investigating a shots fired call in the Five Points community near Johnson C. Smith University.
JCSU was placed on lockdown due to the reports of shots fired.

Police said no one was shot, but two people who were involved in a crash following the shots fired call were taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Channel 9 reporter Jason Stoogenke was on the scene and saw three vehicles smashed into one another and shell casings on the ground.
