PINEVILLE, N.C. — Firefighters were called to a towing business in Pineville early Wednesday morning after several cars caught fire.

Three fire departments responded around 6 a.m. to Dellinger Wrecker on Industrial Drive, and firefighters told Channel 9 that multiple vehicles were on fire at the business.

No injuries were reported.

When Channel 9 arrived at the scene, smoke could be seen billowing from the wrecker yard.

The fire marshal said 12-13 vehicles were on fire and authorities were still working to determine if a mechanical problem was to blame or if they were intentionally set ablaze.
