The two are expected to discuss their vision for a country that is stronger together.
"I’ve seen her determination to give every American a fair shot at opportunity, no matter how tough the fight -- that’s what's always driven her, and still does,” Obama said in his endorsement video for Clinton.
North Carolina Attorney General Roy Cooper, who is running for governor, has been invited and will attend the event, his office told Channel 9 Wednesday.
The event will run from 12:30 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. but it has not been announced yet where.
Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is scheduled to hold a fundraiser Wednesday in Boston, an event expected to be greeted by protesters, our sister station Fox 25 in Boston reports.
The Republican National Committee sent Eyewitness News a statement:
"This event will be another reminder that all Hillary Clinton is offering are four more years of the same failed Obama policies that have made America less prosperous and less safe." – RNC spokeswoman Kara Carter
