HICKORY, N.C. — Police in Hickory were on the scene of a death investigation early Friday morning after they said family members found a man dead inside an apartment.
Officers were on the scene at the apartment on 15th street SE and were in the process of getting a search warrant.

Investigators told Channel 9 that they are not sure if any foul play was involved. They are waiting on autopsy results before they release more information in the case.
Police said they are interviewing several people in hopes of learning more about what happened to the man.
No other details surrounding the death have been released.
