CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Emergency crews had to rush someone to the hospital after they were shot near a northeast Charlotte convenience store early Monday morning.
Officers were called to the shooting scene near the 7-Eleven on the corner of West Sugar Creek and Reagan Drive just after 4 a.m.
When they arrived they found a person suffering from a gunshot wound.

Investigators said the victim was walking on the sidewalk near the store when they were shot.
Police have not yet said how badly that person was hurt or released any suspect information.
