CMPD: No signs of foul play after man found dead in garage

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are investigating after a man was found dead Wednesday inside a garage at a home in northwest Charlotte.

Officers found the man inside the garage on Chalk Hill Lane, just off Mount Holly-Huntersville Road in the Catawba River Plantation.

Homicide investigators were on the scene which is standard when a suspicious death occurs.

Overnight, investigators told Channel 9 that there were no signs of foul play, but could not say how the man died.

The investigation is ongoing.
