CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A woman was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after a shooting Tuesday afternoon on Ivy Meadow Drive in northeast Charlotte, officials said.
Authorities said there was an argument between two women at a pool party in an apartment complex when a gun went off.
Quavivious Andrews, 24, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon to inflict serious injury in connection with the shooting, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said.
Andrews’ bond was set at $50,000
The investigation is ongoing.

Friends of the shooting victim said she will be OK.
