CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Troopers identified a man who was killed in a crash on southbound I-77 and westbound I-485 in Huntersville.
Brendon Ford, 20, from Indian Trail died when his car collided with a tractor-trailer that was parked on the ramp around 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
Witnesses driving behind Ford's vehicle said that he was driving recklessly before the accident, troopers said.
Investigators said he ran off the road and hit the parked tractor trailer.
No one else was hurt in the crash.
