CORNELIUS, N.C. — Multiple emergency agencies were on the scene of a massive fire in Cornelius Monday night.
The fire happened just after 8 p.m. on Rainbow Circle.
Officials said Huntersville Fire, Cornelius Fire, and Davidson Fire responded to the blaze.
In a video provided to Channel 9, noises can be heard as something blows up at the house. It is quickly followed up by flashing blue lights.
Firefighters said the bulk of the flames were knocked down pretty fast, but smoke could be seen billowing from the house.
Neighbors told Channel 9 that the people who live at the house were not home at the time of the fire.
Investigators are still working to determine the cause.
