CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Emergency crews were on the scene of a crash involving a CMS school bus in east Charlotte early Wednesday morning.
Officials said the crash happened around 7 a.m. at Martha’s Ridge Drive and Hickory Grove Road, between Sharon Road and W.T. Harris Boulevard.
CMS officials said school bus 195 was headed to Garinger High School and had 37 students onboard.
MEDIC told Channel 9 that six students were treated for minor injuries and taken to the hospital.

Details surrounding the crash were unclear and Charlotte-Mecklenburg police were still investigating the wreck.
