CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police charged a man in connection to a deadly shooting Saturday in west Charlotte.
Police charged Deion Brevard, 23, with the murder of Nmateen Doe, 28.
Officers found Doe just before 5 a.m. lying in a yard near a car in the 4800 block of Magnasco Lane, officials said.
Officials said that Doe was shot while driving his car, which caused him to crash.
Detectives discovered that Brevard and Doe knew each other and were in an argument before a shooting.
