STANLEY, N.C. — Deputies in Lincoln County arrested a man and woman and charged them with trafficking cocaine.
Authorities said they spotted a vehicle with an expired tag driving erratically Wednesday on Sifford Road in Stanley. When they pulled the car over, they said both the driver and passenger began acting extremely nervous.
Detectives searched the pair and the car and found both powder and crack cocaine, various prescription pills and more than $25,000.
Tammy Erickson, 36, and Donald Davis, 48, were charged with one felony count each of trafficking cocaine by transport, trafficking cocaine by possession and possession with intent to sell and deliver schedule IV controlled substance.
