CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are searching for the suspect who shot and killed a man inside a car in southeast Charlotte Tuesday evening.

Police said Kyyri De Ji Marquis Doggette, 25, was shot in a car following an argument in the 6700 block of East Independence Boulevard.
Detectives believe the shooter and victim knew each other but no arrests have been made.
The slaying marks Charlotte's 55th homicide of 2017.
