CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Channel 9 uncovered an inspection report that gave another Charlotte-Mecklenburg School a poor grade.
The health department inspected Cochrane Collegiate Academy Monday and gave it a "C" grade, which is the lowest grade possible.

One senior, who did not want to be identified, told Channel 9 she is not surprised by the rating.
"There has been dirty water to the point that it is brown and yellowish," the student said.
She said she and many of her friends wait until they get home to use the bathroom.
"You have to do that because the bathrooms are disgusting," the senior said.
What the student said is consistent with the health inspection report.
Inspectors noted several issues they called "repeat non-compliance," which includes water fountains with pink and black residue, all of the urinals out of order in one boy's bathroom, wasp nests in the windows of some classrooms and leaks and water-damaged ceilings.
"That's disgusting," mother Latrice Jackson said when Channel 9 showed her the inspection report. "Y'all need to handle that. No one wants their child to come home sick because of something in the school."
Eyewitness News reporter Ken Lemon contacted Charlotte-Mecklenburg School district officials and asked how the problems happened and why they haven't been fixed.
School officials said they are working on getting the answers but said, "The safety of all students and staff is a top priority at CMS."
