CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are looking for the person who shot a patron outside a popular Plaza Midwood bar overnight.
The shooting happened just before 2 a.m. at Snug Harbor, on Gordon Street.
When officers arrived at the bar they found 25-year-old Gregorio Farmer, who had been shot several times in the chest. He was rushed to Carolinas Medical Center with critical injuries.

A witness told investigators that while she was inside the bar she saw Farmer and another man arguing. Other witnesses told police that the two men then walked outside, around the side of the building when the shots rang out.
The shooter then took off in an unknown type of vehicle.
No suspect description has been released but police said the two men did not know each other.
Tuesday's incident was the second shooting to happen in the area within the last month.
In October, police said 26-year-old Ketie Jones was killed in a random shooting after leaving a bar.
People in the neighborhood told Channel 9 that they're shocked by the recent violence, and that these incidents have made them more vigilant.
“It's a melting pot,” said Jihanna Mughee. “Everyone lives here, no one really has any disagreements going on, so everyone is really shocked about it. We're hurt about the recent incidents happening and we don't want it to happen here.”
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 704-334-1600.
