A house was destroyed by a fire in Concord Monday afternoon after a garage fire spread to the house.
The fire also caused a 1-acre brush fire, firefighters told Channel 9.
The fire spread to the wooded area around the house on Accent Avenue.
Firefighters were able to control the garage fire and the brush fire.

The area is under a fire threat because of to dry weather conditions.
There were no injuries in the fire. A woman was taken to the hospital because her medications were destroyed in the fire.
Investigators are trying to determine what caused the fire.
