ROWAN COUNTY, N.C. — Dozens of firefighters responded to a blaze Monday night at the WestSide convenience store on Enochville Avenue in Rowan County.

The fire was so intense that Rowan County had to call in help from neighboring departments in Iredell and Cabarrus counties.
No injuries were reported but the building was reduced to a charred pile of rubble.
Investigators are still working to determine how the fire started.
