BEAUFORT, S.C. — Firefighters rescued an alligator from an outdoor pool at a YMCA in Beaufort, South Carolina, officials said.
Crews with the Beaufort and Port Royal Fire Department said on Facebook that they found the 3-foot reptile swimming in the deep end. They snagged it with a rescue hook to bring it to the surface.
Firefighters bound the alligator with rope until a Tracks Wildlife employee arrived.
