HUNTERSVILLE, N.C. — Crews are responding to a vehicle fire at a residence in Huntersville Sunday night.
Huntersville Fire Department said they were responding to a vehicle fire in the 13000 Block of Alston Forest Drive.
Crews said the SUV that caught fire was in the driveway of the home.
Officials said the vehicle was a total loss.
The home where the SUV was parked sustained extensive exterior damage.
The homeowner wasn’t home at the time of the fire, according to officials.
Crews said nofire got inside the home due to the quick work by the Engine 2 team.
