Coroner identifies woman killed in wreck involving 18-wheeler in Lancaster County

LANCASTER COUNTY, S.C. — A fatal wreck involving a tractor-trailer and a car was reported Thursday afternoon in Lancaster County.

The crash happened at about 2:30 p.m. near Buford High School at Rocky River and Red Doc roads.

A 2001 Chevy Malibu was going south on Rocky River Road when it lost control and hit the 18-wheeler, troopers said. The driver of the Chevy, 49-year-old Crystal Lloyd, who was wearing a seatbelt, was killed in the collision.
