YORK COUNTY, S.C. — Deputies in York County said a driver died in a crash early Monday morning, just north of Rock Hill.
The wreck happened around 1:15 a.m. on Museum Road, near Oak Meadows Court.
Deputies told Channel 9 that the driver, identified as 31-year-old Daniel Cox, of Lake Wylie, ran off the road, hit a ditch and overturned before crashing into some trees.
Officials said Cox was not wearing a seat belt and died at the scene.
