CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are looking for the gunman who they said shot a woman while she walked along a road in northwest Charlotte overnight.
Officers told Channel 9 the woman was shot in the side on Rozzelles Ferry Road around midnight.
Investigators said about 20 shots were fired but the victim told them she doesn't believe she was targeted.

The victim was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
Her name was not released.
No suspect information has been released.
