CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police conducted a massive manhunt early Friday morning after officers said a security guard was shot and carjacked in west Charlotte.
Emergency crews were called to Roslyn Avenue, near Rozzelles Ferry Road, around 3 a.m. and found a man who had been shot twice.
Police said the victim was a security guard and that the gunman flagged him down. Thinking the suspect needed help, the guard stopped and that’s when police said he was shot, once in the arm and once in the leg.
