CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A man died after a stabbing early Saturday morning in west Charlotte, Charlotte-Mecklenburg police detectives said.
Detectives investigating the homicide in the 1400 block of Quail Street believe the stabbing was not a random act of violence.
The man, identified as Skyler Riker, 19, was taken to CaroMont Regional Hospital in Mount Holly where he later died, Mount Holly police said.
Detectives said Monday that they have identified a person of interest and are not looking for anyone else.
