CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police are investigating a homicide that happened shortly before 9 p.m. Tuesday on Westridge Drive in west Charlotte, officials confirmed.
When officers arrived, they found 26-year-old Shawn Harbin had been shot. He died at the scene.
Investigators said the shooting was not random but have not released any suspect information.
The investigation is ongoing.
