A man who was in a room two doors down told Channel 9’s Mark Becker he heard what sound like fight coming from the room earlier in the night.
“It just sounded like some bumping, like doop doop doop. Wasn’t no distinguished gunshots or anything,” the man said. “When I came out and seen all the police and everything, it shocked me, that close,” he said.
Detectives worked through the night and were still at the motel late Tuesday afternoon.
