CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Charlotte-Mecklenburg police along with the FBI are looking for a 16-year-old girl who has not been seen since May.
Officials said Hailey Burns has not had contact with her family or friends since leaving her Baldwin Hall Drive home in the middle of the night on May 23.
Hailey was last seen wearing blue jeans, a black long-sleeved T-shirt with Marilyn Monroe on it, and Converse tennis shoes.
Authorities said the girl does not have a cellphone and took few belongings with her.
Hailey has several medical conditions that require medication and officials said she did not take any of them with her.
Hailey was described as having brown hair and hazel eyes, 5 foot 4 inches tall and 130 pounds.
She has curly hair that she may wear in pigtails. Burns may be carrying a blue book bag with flowers on it
