CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Police are investigating after a robbery led to a shooting in east Charlotte early Friday morning.
Officers said the crime happened around 1:30 a.m. in a parking lot on Four Seasons Lane near Winterhaven Lane.
Police said five people were outside an apartment when they were approached by a man who robbed them at gunpoint.
During the robbery, officers said the gunman shot one of the victims multiple times in the back.
That victim was rushed to Carolinas Medical Center but will be OK..

Police have not made any arrests in the case and no suspect description has been released.
