UNION COUNTY, N.C. — A busy Highway in Union County was blocked after a cement truck crash early Thursday morning.
Emergency crews responded to the 9800 block of Lancaster Highway after the truck crashed on its side around 4:45 a.m.
Firefighters said one person was in the truck but they only suffered minor injuries.

It was unclear what caused the crash and officials did not know when the road would be reopened.
