CABARRUS COUNTY, N.C. — The Cabarrus County Sheriff's Office is investigating the death of one of its inmates.
Officers found Dominique Posey dead in his cell over the weekend.
They said he appeared to have died in his sleep.
There's no apparent cause of death and investigators are waiting on autopsy results.
Deputies have not yet said what charges Posey was being held on.
