Bomb threat evacuates stadium during Charlotte Hounds game, officials say

CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Memorial Stadium was evacuated after a bomb threat call Saturday evening during a Charlotte Hounds lacrosse game, officials said.

The stadium was cleared while Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department and Charlotte Fire Department responded.

The game ended with the Hounds losing to the New York Lizards, 14-11.

No injuries were reported.

People were allowed back into the stadium after nothing was found.
