YORK COUNTY, S.C. — The York County Sheriff's Department said it does not suspect foul play after a woman's body was found in a wooded area early Friday morning.
Investigators told Channel 9's South Carolina bureau reporter Greg Suskin the body was found by a jogger in the woods off Tomahawk Ridge in a neighborhood on the Catawba Indian Reservation.
Crime scene tape was up around the wooded lot and the county coroner was on the scene.

No other details about the woman hor the cause of death have been released, but investigators said they do not think foul play was involved.
“Tribal officials are aware of the investigation and are waiting for more information from law enforcement,” tribe spokesperson Elizabeth Harris told Channel 9's partners at The Herald.
The coroner has not yet identified the body.
The 700-acre Catawba reservation sits in eastern York County along the shores of the Catawba River. The Catawbas are the only federally recognized Native American tribe in South Carolina.
