CHARLOTTE, N.C. — A 13-year-old was shot in the leg after being robbed at gunpoint Thursday evening in west Charlotte, police said.
Investigators told Channel 9 four to five suspects robbed the teenager in the 2900 block of Forestbrook Drive.
The victim was taken to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said Friday morning that they have arrested 16-year-old Jabari Pugh, charging him with robbery with a dangerous weapon, conspiracy to commit robbery, and assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury.
Detectives said a 15-year-old was also arrested but that person's name will not be released due to his age.
