CHARLOTTE — Some parents and kids in west Charlotte got another chance to stock up on school supplies before the school year gets underway.
The radio station 104.4 put on a supply giveaway that also included free haircuts at the West Charlotte Recreation Center.
Kids could get new shirts, shorts, or pants for free.
“There is something good in every child,” said Ericka Caldwell of 104.4. “Sometimes they need an extra boost. That’s what this is, a love opportunity to give back as much as we possibly can to the kids.”
